DESCRIPTION

Storage device for interior of a vehicle interior

 5
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The object of the present patent application is a storage device for the interior of a passenger compartment of a vehicle according to claim 1, which incorporates notable innovations and advantages. 10

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

At present, various storage devices are known for the interior of a passenger compartment of a vehicle, in particular in the console area.

Thus it is known from the state of the art, as reflected in DE102009031618, a device with a closed housing with an insertion opening and an article holding space. The holding space is defined in part by 20 flexible retention units, which apply a retention force on the retained objects. They include elastic elements of sheets and rollers that form a holding hole. One of the rollers has a flexible and movable roller sleeve. In any case, it presents limitations regarding the versatility of the shapes and dimensions of the objects to be located and retained. 25

It is also known from the state of the art, as reflected in document US20110074173, a storage device for an object in a vehicle, which includes a base and at least one side wall, which define a reception space. The device comprises an elongated element in the form of an elastic band, which is mounted at its two ends on the side wall. The ends of the band element can be installed in different positions of the side wall, dividing the reception space and providing different positions of use.

The elastic band always has the two moving ends that are fixed in different concrete areas by locking a pin in a hole. Even allowing greater versatility, it presents the problem that the bands can be lost by being able to fully extract. Mention also that the solution of the insertion of a pin in a hole is not a simple action while driving. Note further that the 5 system only allows the storage space to be divided into two zones.

It is on the other hand known from the state of the art, as reflected in DE102013001130, a storage space with a base and a peripheral side wall that form a reception space, with a clamping device for holding the items, where The separation wall extends between the first wall and the second wall part of the side wall. It therefore comprises a fixed end and a mobile end. The fixed end has a reel that rolls, and applies tension, to the elastic band. Instead, the movable end allows its reversible fixation at a specific point. On the contrary, it only allows the storage space to be divided into two zones, presenting a limited versatility.

Thus, it is seen that there is still a need to have a storage device for the interior of a passenger compartment of a vehicle, which allows compartmentalizing objects and adjusting and retaining them, offering a wide possibility of positions and 20 dimensions of the object to be retained inside of the storage device.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
 25
The present invention proposes a storage device for interior of a passenger compartment of a vehicle. Some of its integrating elements are, however, already known from the prior art.

The differential technical elements of the object housing device for vehicle console 30 of the invention would be to comprise a tape fixed by three points, at least one of them being removable. Advantageously, the load dividing means defines different spaces in the cavity, offering greater flexibility and versatility when generating storage spaces.
 35
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the storage device for interior of a passenger compartment of a vehicle comprises a base, a plurality of walls that limit the base, where the base and the plurality of walls define a cavity for the storage of at least an object, at least one load dividing means, at least one first fixing means of the at least one loading dividing means to one of the plurality of 5 walls, where the at least one first fixing means is arranged in at least one of the plurality of walls and at least a second fixing means of the at least one load dividing means to at least one of the plurality of walls, where the at least a second fixing means is arranged in at least one of the plurality of walls, wherein the at least one second fixing means retains the at least one removable loading means 10, and where the storage device comprises at least three fixing means n of the at least one load dividing means to at least one of the plurality of walls, the at least three fixing means being the at least one first fixing means and / or the at least one second fixing means, where at least One of the three fixing means is a second fixing means. fifteen

Specifically, the storage device presents the possibility of various configurations, with one, two or all three fixing means of the type of the second fixing means, that is, with a load dividing means removably fixed to the plurality of walls. The realization with a single second removable fixing means 20 has a lower versatility but a greater robustness. On the other hand, the realization with the three fixing means of the type of the second fixing means, that is removable, would present greater versatility than the previous embodiment. The second fixing means can be any type of connection that allows a comfortable coupling and decoupling by a user to one of the plurality of walls, such as a complementary clip, male and female coupling 25, magnets ...

The common advantage to all embodiments of the present invention would be to define different spaces in the cavity for the at least one object. Said cavity can potentially be present at any interior site of the vehicle, with the exception of the trunk, 30 and preferably the center console in the passenger compartment space.

Thus, the invention presents the improved provision of compartmentalizing objects and being able to adjust them by means of the load dividing means, or tape, without losing the functionality of the existing storage cavity in the central console. The position of the load dividing means, or tape, allows to establish separations in the cavity space, in order to accommodate different objects between the load dividing means, or tape, and the walls. It is possible in this way to combine the function of container housing at the same time, with that of compartmentalization with the walls.
 5
According to another aspect of the invention, the storage device comprises at least one coupling element capable of being coupled to at least a second fixing means, where the at least one load dividing means is inserted in the at least one coupling element so that the coupling element is movable along the at least one load dividing means. This increases the versatility of the storage device 10, by having greater flexibility in terms of the position of the coupling and / or fixing to the walls of the console cavity.

Advantageously, the at least one load dividing means is elastic, so that its length is likely to increase from an initial resting dimension. Thus, with a half load divider, or tape, elastic or semi-elastic, an increased performance is achieved in terms of the versatility of the distribution of the console cavity, when establishing compartments, being able to accommodate and retain objects of various shapes, dimensions and weights. The user thus has the possibility to personalize, according to his needs, said storage space. The elasticity of the 20-load dividing medium favors the retention of objects, in addition to allowing objects of different shapes and sizes to be held correctly. Said elasticity further favors that the load dividing means is partially tensioned, thereby being able to hold and prevent, at least partially, involuntary movements of the objects to be retained.
 25
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the at least one load dividing means is a single tape, preferably elastic. Thus, and through a single retaining component it is possible to achieve a whole range of shapes and retention for all types of objects. Tape means any element that is also under the meaning of denominations such as strip, band, webbing, and the like. 30

According to another aspect of the invention, the at least one second fixing means comprises a guide, so that the at least one coupling element is capable of sliding longitudinally through the at least one second fixing means. In this way the position of the coupling element can be regulated along the wall of the cavity, the position of the load dividing means, or tape, varying accordingly, and consequently, the distribution of the storage space.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the guide comprises at least one toothed surface, and because the at least one coupling element comprises at least one retaining means 5 capable of being linked to the at least one toothed surface, so that the at least a toothed surface retains the at least one coupling element in its longitudinal displacement by the at least a second fixing means. In this way the guided movement is retained, avoiding unintended and unwanted movements due to the tension of the belt, or load dividing element. 10

Advantageously, the guide is open at least one of its longitudinal ends, so that the at least one coupling element is capable of being coupled and / or uncoupled from the at least one guide by the at least one of its longitudinal ends. Thus, it is possible to bring to said end of said hitch guide, and thus release the tape 15 from its engaged and retained position in the wall of the cavity. It is thus shown that the present invention allows varying the number of points at which the load dividing means is attached to the plurality of walls. In this way it is possible to vary the number and size of cargo spaces.
 twenty
On the other hand, the at least one coupling element comprises a hole substantially equal to a section of the at least one load dividing means, or tape. In this way it is possible for the coupling element to circulate freely through the load dividing means, with hardly any resistance, maintaining a sufficient tension of the load dividing means on both sides of the second fixing means, so that the dividing means 25 of load is able to correctly hold objects located in all spaces limited by the load dividing means.

According to another aspect of the invention, the base of the cavity is substantially rectangular, so that it comprises two first walls substantially parallel to each other, and two second walls substantially perpendicular to the first two walls, and because the storage device comprises a first fixing means on each first wall and a second fixing means on each second wall. In this way the load divider can be fixedly fixed to the first walls, and in a movable and removable manner to the second walls. As can be seen, at least two retention points of the at least one fixed load dividing means can be arranged, and the coupling and position of the second fixing means can be modified to the sizes of the objects to be fastened. Thus, a multitude of configurations and positions of the at least one load divider means are allowed, and two, three or even four points of attachment of the at least one load divider means can be attached to the plurality of walls, with the consequent formation of two, three , four or five 5 cargo spaces divided by the at least one half load divider.

Advantageously, the first fixing means is arranged in a substantially central position of each first wall and because the second fixing means is arranged in a substantially central position of each second wall. In this simpler way of distribution, symmetry and creation of simpler forms are allowed for the user to locate the objects.

Specifically, the base of the cavity is substantially rectangular, so that it comprises two first walls substantially parallel to each other, and two second 15 walls substantially perpendicular to the first two walls, and because the storage device comprises two first fixing means arranged in two adjacent corners of the rectangular cavity, and because the storage device comprises at least a second fixing means in a wall opposite the first two fixing means. In this way a distribution in triangles 20 of the space of the console cavity is obtained, which represents an alternative way of separating said space. As can be seen, at least two retention points of the at least one fixed load dividing means can be arranged, and the coupling and position of the second fixing means can be modified to the sizes of the objects to be fastened. Thus, a multitude of configurations and positions of the at least one load divider means are allowed, and two or three points of attachment of the at least one load divider means can be attached to the plurality of walls, with the consequent formation of two or three spaces of load divided by the at least one half load divider.

On the other hand, the at least one second fixing means is a vertical projection, and because the at least one coupling element comprises a cavity complementary to the vertical projection, so that the at least one second fixing means defines at least one static coupling position of the at least one coupling element in one of the plurality of walls. In this way the invention is presented in a more simplified and simple mode, with more robust fixings to the walls of the cavity. 35

Advantageously, the at least one first fixing means immovably retains the at least one load dividing means, thereby obtaining a simpler and more solid fixing, in a position that has been determined as very frequently chosen by the vehicle users. 5

Favorably, the at least one coupling element is decoupled from the at least a second fixing means, wherein the at least one load dividing means comprises an elasticity that allows the at least one object to be held, of the type of which they are placed usually in the console cavity of a vehicle, such as: soda cans, 10 bottles of water, mobile phones, glasses cases, agendas, and the like. The weight of such objects can range from approximately 100 to 500 grams.

Additionally, the at least one coupling element is coupled to at least a second fixing means, wherein the at least one load dividing means comprises an elasticity such that it allows to hold the at least one object, of the type and with the weight of those mentioned in the previous paragraph.

DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

In view of the aforementioned figures and, according to the numbering adopted, an example of a preferred embodiment of the invention can be observed therein, which comprises the parts and elements indicated and described in detail below.
The storage device is represented in the following images implemented in a central console of a motor vehicle, and may be located in any other 30 cavity 2 of the interior of a vehicle.

Thus, as seen in Figures 1A, 2, 3, 4A, 5A and 6, the storage device for interior of a vehicle interior, comprising a base, a plurality of walls 21 that limit the base, where the base and the plurality of walls 21 define a cavity 2 for the storage of at least one object, at least one load dividing means 4, at least one first fixing means 41 of the at least one load dividing means 4 to one of the plurality of walls 21, where the at least one first fixing means 41 is arranged in at least one of the plurality of walls 21 and at least a second fixing means 3 of the at least one load dividing means 4 to at least one of the plurality of 5 walls 21, where the at least one second fixing means 3 is arranged in at least one of the plurality of walls 21, wherein the at least one second fixing means 3 retains the at least one dividing means charge 4 removably, and where the device from to The storage comprises at least three fixing means of the at least one load dividing means 4 to at least one of the plurality of walls 21, the at least three fixing means being the at least one first fixing means 41 and / or the at least a second fixing means 3, where at least one of the three fixing means is a second fixing means 3.

More particularly, as seen in Figures 1A, 3, 4A, 4B, 5A and 6, the storage device comprises at least one coupling element 42 capable of being coupled to at least a second fixing means 3, wherein the at least one load dividing means 4 is inserted in the at least one coupling element 42 so that the coupling element 42 is movable along the at least one load dividing means 4.
 twenty
On the other hand, as seen in Figure 3, the at least one load dividing means 4 is elastic. In this figure 3 it is observed that the elasticity of the at least one load dividing means 4 allows it to maintain a certain tension, holding both cylindrical and elongated objects, in the spaces available for it.
 25
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, as seen in Figures 1A, 1B, 2, 4A and 5A, the at least one load dividing means 4 is a single belt. It is possible to use more than one tape but it is best to use the same tape fixed in the central areas of the second walls 212 or transverse walls.
 30
According to another aspect of the invention, as seen in Figures 4A and 5B, the at least one second fixing means 3 comprises a guide 31, so that the at least one coupling element 42 is capable of sliding longitudinally along the at least a second fixing means 3.
 35
According to yet another aspect of the invention, as seen in Figure 5B, the guide 31 comprises at least one toothed surface 311, and because the at least one coupling element 42 comprises at least one retaining means 43 capable of being linked with the at least one toothed surface 311, so that the at least one toothed surface 311 retains the at least one coupling element 42 in its longitudinal displacement by the at least 5 second fixing means 3.

On the other hand, as seen in Figures 1A, 5A and 6, the guide 31 is open at least one of its longitudinal ends 312, so that the at least one coupling element 42 is capable of being coupled and / or decoupled to the at least one guide 31 by 10 at least one of its longitudinal ends 312.

More specifically, as seen in Figure 4B, the at least one coupling element 42 comprises an orifice 44 substantially equal to a section of the at least one load dividing means 4. 15

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, as seen in Figures 1A, 2, and 3, the base of the cavity 2 is substantially rectangular, so that it comprises two first walls 211 substantially parallel to each other, and two second walls 212 substantially perpendicular to the first two walls 211, and because the storage device comprises a first fixing means 41 in each first wall 211 and a second fixing means 3 in each second wall 212.

More in detail, as seen in Figure 2, a first embodiment is shown where the at least one load dividing means 4 is fixed to the first two walls 211 immovably. On the other hand, it is removably fixed to the two second walls 212. Thus a multitude of configurations are shown where the at least one load dividing means 4 is coupled to the plurality of walls 21 at two, three or four points. The versatility and variation of the different objects that can be held by the storage device of the present invention is observed, from large bottles 30 to cards or keys. This versatility is possible because the load divider 4, and its coupling element 42, is removable from the lateral serrated guides 31 by at least one of the longitudinal ends 312. They can be formed, as seen in Figure 2, Up to five cargo spaces by means of a single load dividing means, being able to vary its dimensions easily and comfortably. 35

According to another preferred embodiment of the invention, as seen in Figures 1A, 2, 4A and 5A, the first fixing means 41 is arranged in a substantially central position of each first wall 211 and because the second fixing means 3 is disposed in a substantially central position of each second wall 212. Note that fixing 5 to these transverse walls or first walls 211 prevents the movement of the belt. That is, the belt, or load divider 4, does not run through these areas, but the fixing to these walls is used to prestress the belts.

According to yet another preferred embodiment of the invention, as seen in Figure 6, the base of the cavity 2 is substantially rectangular, so that it comprises two first walls 211 substantially parallel to each other, and two second walls 212 substantially perpendicular to the first two walls 211, and because the storage device comprises two first fixing means 41 arranged in two contiguous corners of the rectangular cavity 2, and because the storage device 15 comprises at least a second fixing means 3 on an opposite wall to the first two fixing means 41. Thus we have an alternative in which a side belt, or load divider 4, is fixed in two adjacent corners and movable by a guide 31 serrated on the opposite side, allowing to comfortably modify the size of the three cavities or spaces to locate objects. If necessary, the at least one load divider means 20 can be removed from the guide 31, so that the cavity 2 is not divided and where the at least one load divider means 4 can be used to hold small objects between one of the walls 21 and the load dividing means 4.

According to yet another preferred embodiment of the invention, as seen in Figures 7A 25 and 7B, the at least one second fixing means 3 is a vertical projection, and the at least one coupling element 42 comprises a cavity complementary to the projection vertical, so that the at least one second fixing means 3 defines at least one static coupling position of the at least one coupling element 42 in one of the plurality of walls 21. Thus, the second fixing means 3 can be both a guide 31 as a vertical projection 30. It represents an alternative with a lateral belt, or load divider 4, fixed in two adjacent corners and clippable, or fixed, to specific positions of the opposite end. That is, a central belt and, in this particular example, three fixing points on the opposite side.
 35
More particularly, as can be seen in Figures 1, 7A and 7B, the at least one first fixing means 41 immovably retains the at least one load dividing means 4.

According to another aspect of the invention, as seen in Figure 2, the at least one coupling element 42 is disengaged from the at least one second fixing means 3, 5 where the at least one load dividing means 4 comprises an elasticity such that it allows to hold the at least one object. Thus, the belt, or half load divider 4, must have sufficient tension in the de-anchored position of the lateral guides 31, that is, in the example of Figure 2, in the configuration in which the separation of the enclosure is in two equal parts. The elasticity is such that sufficient tension is available so that if reduced objects 10 are placed between the two straps they are correctly anchored and do not escape.

Additionally, as seen in Figure 3, the at least one coupling element 42 is coupled to at least a second fixing means 3, wherein the at least one load dividing means 4 comprises an elasticity that allows the At least one object. On the other hand, the belt, or half load divider 4, must be able to hold bottles as shown in figure 3. The tension in the belt must be large enough to prevent unwanted displacement of large objects This provision helps that the fixing part, or coupling element 42, to side rails, or guides 31, is robust and does not slide easily. Thus, when the at least one load divider means 4 is coupled by four points, the load divider means 4 must have sufficient tension to hold large objects and at the same time be comfortably removable and movable by the user through the guide 31.

The details, shapes, dimensions and other accessory elements, as well as the 25 components used in the implementation of the storage device for interior of a passenger compartment of a vehicle may be conveniently replaced by others that are technically equivalent, and do not depart from the essentiality of the invention or the scope defined by the claims that are included after the following list. 30
